NEXT GEN EWIC ONLINE: EWIC CONVERSATIONS
The Next Generation of EWIC Online envisions the creation of an innovative archive organized around audio-visual productions with foundational figures in the field of women and Islamic cultures. These foundational figures range from leading scholars in the social sciences and humanities, to leading figures from social, political, media, cultural, and religious movements and moments. The audio-visual productions include interviews, montages, documentary histories, performances, and representational exhibits. While the Next Generation of EWIC Online continues is production of knowledge covering over 450 thematic topics by scholars from all over the globe, the vision is to include a variety of modes of presentation in each supplement: classic articles, audio-visual interviews, performances, and/or representational exhibits. The Next Generation of EWIC Online will be published once a year, in the Fall.
